The coral gardens around Pigeon Island near Trincomalee are among the clearest and most accessible in Sri Lanka, and the reefs along the east coast offer excellent snorkelling from May to September. On the west and south coasts, the season runs from November to April. We arrange guided snorkelling excursions with appropriate safety briefings and reputable local boat operators.
