Horton Plains & World’s End Nature Tour

Departs From: Nuwara Eliya / Ella

The plateau of Horton Plains sits at over 2,100 metres and offers a trekking experience that is unlike anything else in Sri Lanka – open montane grassland, cloud forest patches, and the dramatic cliff-edge viewpoint of World’s End, where the plateau drops almost 900 metres to the lowland plains below.

Practical Note: Depart before dawn from Nuwara Eliya to reach the park gates by 6:30 AM – cloud typically closes in by mid-morning, obscuring the World’s End views. Bring a light rain layer.
