During the dry season between July and October, the ancient Minneriya reservoir becomes the stage for The Gathering – one of Asia’s most extraordinary wildlife spectacles, as hundreds of wild elephants converge on the receding waterline to feed, bathe, and socialise. This safari is unlike any other elephant experience in the region.
